Inga has more 15 years of practical experience as an IP lawyer. Before joining boesling IP, she i.a. worked for the renowned IP department of a large international law firm, as well as in-house (secondment) for a global market leader of the food and beverage industry.
Inga’s experience covers all aspects of trademark, design, copyright and unfair competition law, in particular national and cross-border litigation, developing and implementing worldwide trademark and design protection strategies, portfolio management (including trademark clearance, filing, opposition and cancellation proceedings) as well as the negotiation of all kinds of contracts related to IP rights, such as IP licensing and transfer agreements.
Inga also routinely advises on IP issues related to M&A deals and transactions.
WTR 1000 consistently ranks Inga as a leading individual in trademark law (2017–2023). She is appreciated as an “outstanding consultant” (2021) and “exceptionally knowledgeable and experienced trademark lawyer” (2022). Inga is a bar-certified specialist for IP law and co-author of the widely recognized commentaries of Gordian Hasselblatt on the European Union Trademark Regulation and the EU Community Design Regulation. She is an experienced speaker at IP conferences and frequently writes articles on IP law issues for specialist magazines.
Since 2021, Inga serves as Co-Chair of the MARQUES Designs Team.
